This one is the Knitted Diagonal Striped Sweater from Clark's ONT Fashion books from the early 30ies. I wanted to make this one for ages but whenever thinking of actually casting on I found I had some other Darling in mind. But I knew for sure I would use Rowan 4ply soft in sooty, a dark grey. And I think the choice was a good one, what do you think?

Well, probably you think nothing because of this pictures ... ;-) I do not know why but I love those overexposed photos. More of something sligthly artistic you will not find here, I am sorry to say.

But I did not give up that easily and kept on taking pictures - in fact this means walking back and forth, dealing with the settings for each picture, and deleting most of the picture. Nice, uh? So here are the better ones so that you can see a little bit more of this little jumper.



Do I like it? Yes, but I am not over the top in love with it. I could have done better, but I am not one to rip all the time. So I live with the not sooo great results. It might look nice when worn over a white blouse with a bow - something I would like to sew but I am not yet ready for such a project, I guess.

There is one thing I would like to tell - perhaps not actually tell, it bothers me and I just need to write it down: two weeks ago the doctor checked me up and found a knot in or at my thyroid. I am waiting for next Tuesday to undergo a radiological examination and the nearer this day gets the more nervous and anxious I am. So laughing for this pictures wasn't easy and I stopped trying. Not the best time ever, I must admit.
